August 9: Bus Trip to the 2008 National Show - The details are finalized for the Bus Trip to the 2008 National Bottle Show in York, Pennsylvania on August, 9, 2008. It is a wonderful opportunity to travel together for this national show since it is so close to New York.

The ESBCA club will be chartering a bus which will leave from Syracuse at Exit 34 A on the Thruway at 5:30 AM. We will be traveling south on Route 81 and will stop at exit 11 at Cortland if there is an interest for such a stop. We will also make a bathroom/coffee stop below Binghamton before arriving in York, PA around 10 AM. The entrance fee into the show is $5.00. The cost of the bus will be $40.00 per person. (a few seats left!)

We will leave York at 4:00 PM when the show closes and will head for home. We will stop on the way home for an evening meal around 6:00 PM. Again we estimate that we should be arriving back in Syracuse around 10 PM.

If you are interested in riding the bus, you need to reserve your seat by contacting John or Carol Spellman at 315-365-3156 or email at spellmanjc@tds.net . Seats will be saved on a first come, first serve basis. Secondly, the payment of $40.00 for the trip needs to be postmarked no later than June 15, 2008. If you need to cancel out after June 15 th , you will be refunded only if your seat can be filled with someone else.

The ESBCA club has agreed to provide a $20.00 discount for any member choosing to ride the bus. Only two family members will be able to use this discount on each membership.
